Terms and Conditions – Storylytics Online Group Training
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) apply to the data storytelling training provided by Storylytics Inc. (we, us and our) to the individual procuring the training for their personal or nominated participant (you, your).
Payment and Confirmation of Training
Program fee (plus applicable taxes) must be paid in full to secure your spot for the date of your selected program. Each program workshop series is limited to a maximum number of individual attendees as identified in the program description. If the workshop is full, you will not be able to purchase a spot.
Pre-Requisites
Attendees must have access to a computer with audio/video capabilities and have a basic level of experience sharing data within an organization (profit or not for profit).
Cancellations and Changes
If you need to cancel a course or change to another session, you must advise us in writing as early as possible. To initiate the change, contact us at hello@storylytics.ca. The date of your request is effective the day of your email, and we will respond within two business days. The following policy applies to any change.
Cancel your attendance:
- 100% of your fee is refundable if
- you cancel within three (3) business days of registration and the course has not yet started.
- you cancel within seven (7) business days prior to Day 1 of your program.
- 50% of your fee is refundable if
- You cancel within three (3) business days prior to Day 1 of your program.
- No refund available if
- You cancel less than three (3) business days prior to Day 1 of your program.
Change to another session:
If your schedule changes, we are happy to move you to an upcoming session should one be available. A 10% fee is applicable for any change made within three (3) business days prior to Day 1 of your program. You can only shift your start date once, and shifted dates are not eligible for additional refunds.
Unable to complete the program:
If you are unable to complete a program once it has started, please contact hello@storylytics.ca as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your fee but are happy to move you to another program at no additional cost should there be a suitable spot available. Shifted program dates are not eligible for additional refunds.
We may make a change due to reasons beyond our control (including trainer illness). Storylytics Inc. will provide you with as much notice as possible if this occurs. You will be given the option of moving to another session at no charge or receiving a 100% refund for the session.

Right to Use Training Material
All intellectual property rights in any training material provided by us are and remain owned by us. You may only use the training material to enhance your own performance, and for no other purpose, including training or coaching of others. Training material includes any supporting job aid provided by Storylytics Inc. or any screen captures you may have made during the training session.
Liability
Our liability under or in connection with the Terms or relating to the training must not exceed the fees paid for the training session to which the liability relates. Without limiting the previous sentence, we exclude all liability for indirect, consequential or incidental loss or damage, or for loss of profit, savings, business, revenue and/or goodwill, arising under or in connection with the Terms or relating to the training.
Entire Agreement
The Terms set out the entire agreement between us relates exclusively to data storytelling training. No customer terms will apply.
